Peace Concert Hall

International  Ballet presents ballet's original romantic comedy, Don Quixote at the Peace Concert Hall. The IB pre-professional company will be joined by phenomenal guest artists for a dazzling production. The spicy Ludwig Minkus score will be performed by the Greenville Symphony Orchestra. Based on Miguel de Cervantes’ classic novel, the ballet is a high-energy, sunny romp through the Spanish countryside featuring choreography by legendary Marius Petipa. The story follows the chivalrous Don Quixote and his loyal squire Sancho Panza, in addition to a blossoming romance between Kitri and the handsome Basilio. Don Quixote is can’t-miss-entertainment for the whole family.

A partnership with the Greenville County Library System, International Ballet’s free programs introduce children to the world of ballet through dance-themed books. The performance/readings allow young children the opportunity to see the costumes and performers up-close and meet the dancers after the show. Over 1,000 children and their families attend a Storytime Ballet performance each season.
